BREAKING NEWS: Scores of worshippers feared dead as Boko Haram bombs mosque in Maiduguri

Scores of worshippers are feared dead in twin bomb blasts that rocked a mosque in Maiduguri, capital of Borno State, minutes ago.

A report by a RayPower FM correspondent in the troubled city said that two bomb explosions went off at the mosque close to the office of the radio station during this evening’s well-attended prayers.

“At the monent scores of people, mainly worshippers, are feared to have died in the explosions,” he said, adding that soldiers and rescue workers have arrived the scene.

The blasts are believed to be the handiwork of Boko Haram terrorists.
