The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, October 15, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES

Coastal Areas: Localised rains are expected to prevail over the entire region throughout the forecast period.

Inland Areas: Localised rains are expected to prevail over the entire region throughout the forecast period.

Central States: Localised thunderstorms is expected to affect areas like Lokoja, Mambilla Plateau, Abuja, Jos, Lafia, Ibi and Makurdi axis in the morning, while cloudy condition will prevail over the remaining parts of the central states. Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect the north-western part while cloudy conditions are expected to prevail over the North-East in the morning hours. Localised thundery activities are expected to affect few places within the region during the afternoon/evening hours.
