President Muhammadu Buhari has withdrawn the name of immediate past Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Musa Ibeto, from the list of ministerial nominees,a report from Abuja said.
“The President has sent a letter to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, notifying him of the withdrawal of Ibeto,” a Vanguard report said.
The report gave no idea about the reason or reasons behind the President’s action.
News Express reports that 10 ministerial nominees were screened and cleared by the Senatye yesterday, with another 11 slated to be screened today and the remaining 15 tomorrow.
