The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, October 14, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES

Coastal Areas: Cloudy conditions are expected over the entire coast in the morning, while localised rains are expected to prevail over the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

Inland Areas: Cloudy conditions are expected over the inland of the southwest, with prospects of rain showers over the South-East region in the morning, while prospects of localised thunderstorms are expected over the entire region during the afternoon/evening hours.

Central States: Cloudy conditions are expected over the region, with prospects of localised rains over places like Jalingo, Ogoja, Abuja, Lokoja, Makurdi in the morning. Cloudy conditions are also expected to prevail over the western parts of the central states, while localised thunderstorms will prevail over the eastern axis of the central states like Gombe, Ibi, Bauch, Jos, Abuja during the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the entire region in the morning with chances of localised thunderstorms are expected to prevail over the entire region during the afternoon/evening hours.
