Governor Okowa gave the assurance yesterday when the President of Legend Interior Limited, Sir John Ifejiofor, led the foreign partners of the company to pay him a courtesy visit in Asaba.
According to him, his administration was desirous of speedy industrialisation of the state to increase job opportunities for the teeming youths of the state.
“We are very happy when we see private companies coming to partner with us to take our youths off the streets,” the Governor said, adding: “We will continue to encourage companies who wants to set up their industries in the state in any way that we can.”
He asserted: “the important thing is that when the companies are in place, they will generate employment for our people.”
