Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has express concern over the delay in payment of a 40 billion Naira development fund to neighboring states to the Federal Capital Territory.
The governor expressed this concern while flagging off the Angwuan Hashimu Road and clearing the Abuja-Keffi express drainage and setbacks in Karu council area.
He bemoaned the inability of the previous administration of President Goodluck Jonathan to release the fund meant to assist states with infrastructural deficits, as a result of population spill from adjourning the capital territory.
Governor Al-makura said his administration was undertaking the projects to encourage the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to look into the challenges in Maraba, Karu council area of the state. (Channels TV)
