Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase, has reposted some senior police officers in what Force Public Relations Officer, CP Emmanuel C.S. Ojukwu, said is aimed “to further reposition the Force for greater efficiency.”
A statement issued this afternoon in Abuja by Ojukwu gave the affected officers as DIG Dan’Azumi Job Doma, who is now DIG in-charge of Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), FHQ Abuja; DIG Kakwe Christopher Katso, now DIG in-charge of Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Department (FCIID), Abuja; DIG Chintua Amajor-Onu, now DIG in-charge of Department of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), FHQ Abuja; and DIG Jubril Olawale Adeniji, now DIG in-charge of Department of Research and Planning, FHQ Abuja.
Ojukwu said that the postings are with immediate effect. He explained that DIG Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe, DIG in-charge of Department of Logistics and Supply, FHQ Abuja; DIG Saliu Argungu Hashimu, DIG in-charge of Department of Training and Development, FHQ Abuja; and DIG Sotonye Leroy Wakama, DIG in-charge of Department of Operations, FHQ Abuja, still maintain their duty posts.
