The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy weather condition in the morning hours over the central states of the country today, Sunday, May 17.
The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Saturday in Abuja.
It added that there were chances of localised thunderstorms over the high grounds of Abuja, Makurdi, Lafia and Lokoja during the afternoon and evening hours.
NiMet also predicted that the southern coastal areas would experience cloudy conditions with prospect of thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening hours.
It also predicted that inland areas would experience cloudy conditions with prospect of localised thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours.
NiMet predicted that northern states would experience sunny conditions during the forecast period. (NAN)
