The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy weather condition in the morning hours over the central states of the country today.

The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Sunday in Abuja.

It added that there were chances of localised thunderstorms over the region during the afternoon and evening hours.

NiMet also predicted that the southern coastal areas would experience showers in the morning and thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening hours.

It also predicted that cloudy conditions were expected over the inland region with chances of localised thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours.

The agency said that northern states may experience partly cloudy conditions during the forecast period. (NAN)
