Due to the alarming rate of insecurity at the National Assembly Complex, the House of Representatives has hinted on plans to set up a Special Committee on internal security to tackle the menace.

This followed a point of order raised by a member, Hon. Dederi Haruna Isa, representing Kano West on the porousness of the security of the National Assembly Complex despite the numerous security agencies operating at the place.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, who made this indication at the resumption of the plenary session on Wednesday, also lamented that it was very unfortunate that Nigeria has the most porous Parliament in the world.
