Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, May 12, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region in the morning hours with chances of thunderstorms activities over Bauchi, Maiduguri, Potiskum, Yola and Gombe in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 35 – 43℃ and 23 – 28℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region in the morning hours except for Mambilla axis, where thunderstorms are likely. As the day progresses, thunderstorms activities are expected over the high ground cities of the central region places around Abuja, Lafia, Jos, Southern Kaduna and Niger state. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 35℃ and 19 – 24℃ respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are to be experienced over some part of the inland and the coastal axis in the morning hours except over place such as Enugu, Ebonyi, Owerri, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Eket and Uyo axis where thunderstorms activities are expected. As the day progresses, thunderstorms activities are likely over most places in the inland cities with widespread thunderstorms over the coastal region during the afternoon into evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 35℃ and 20 – 25℃ respectively.
