The WeBelieve campaign group has launched the Igbo version of The 44 reasons to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari. The launch took place on January 9, 2019 at the group’s headquarters in Wuse 2, Abuja. The English version was launched five days earlier.

According to the DG of WeBelieve, Mr Abayomi Bankole, “The reason for creating this translation is to reach out to everyone and leave no stone unturned. It can be recalled that despite losing heavily in the South East during the 2015 election, President Buhari had continued to address the Igbo’s most pressing needs, which bordered mainly on infrastructural development. This includes the rehabilitation of the Onitsha-Enugu dual carriage way, which has endeared him to the Igbos and they have continued to pledged their support him to run for a second term. To effectively reach out to the people, it is not enough to speak a language that they understand. You must speak to them in the language their heart speaks.”

The 44 reasons to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari contains the achievements of the Buhari administration in the areas of Security, Critical Infrastructure, Electricity, Economy, Agriculture, Institutional Strengthening and other growth-poles for the past three and half years, presented in a nugget format for easy understanding.
