The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, December 23, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 1 – 3km and localised visibility of less than 1000m is expected over this region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 27 - 29℃ and 11 - 15℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 1 – 3km and localised visibility of less than 1000m is expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 28- 33℃ and 15 - 20℃ respectively except for Jos 25/9℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km is expected to prevail over the region while early morning mist/fog are likely over the coastal cities in the morning hours later in the day, dust haze condition are expected. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 - 33℃ and 19 - 22℃ respectively
