The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, December 20th, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km and localised visibility of less than or equal to 1000m is expected over this region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 27 - 32℃ and 11 - 15℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km and localised visibility of less than or equal to 1000m is expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 28 - 35℃ and 17 - 22℃ respectively except for Jos 27/10℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km and localized visibility of less than or equal to 1000m is expected over the inland states throughout the forecast period. However, Mist condition is expected over the coastal cities in the morning hours and hazy condition in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 - 34℃ and 19 - 24℃ respectively.
