A female delegate at the National Conference, Ifeanyinwa Ezenwa, yesterday slumped at the venue, the National Judicial Institute (NJI), Abuja.

She slumped while trying to gain entrance into the auditorium shortly after delegates resumed for the afternoon session, and was immediately rescued by security operatives.

It was the first of such incident recorded since the three-month conference began on March 17 and happened as delegates were yet to overcome the shock arising from the sudden death of one of them, Mallam Hamma Misau, a retired Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police, who died of an undisclosed illness on March 28, aged 67.
