Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello, has commiserated with his counterpart, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the Government and people of Sokoto State over the death of the governor’s spokesman, Malam Imam Imam, who died in an Abuja hospital after a brief illness.

Sani-Bello described the demise of Malam Imam Imam as shocking and a great loss to the state government considering his antecedents and potency in the discharge of his official responsibilities.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, Gov Sani-Bello eulogised the late Imam Imam, describing him as a personification of humility, loyalty and dedication.

He said the deceased was not only respected amongst his peers but that he had carved a niche for himself as one of the most brilliant and successful image and information managers in the country.

Sani-Bello stated that late Imam Imam would also be remembered for his exploits and prompt dissemination of information about the policies and programs of government particularly on the platforms of the New Media.

Sani-Bello prayed Allah to forgive Imam Imam’s shortcomings and grant him eternal abode in Aljanna Firdausi. He also urged Governor Aminu Tambuwal, the government and immediate family of the deceased to bear the loss with fortitude.
