Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has assured that his government will meet the hopes and aspirations of citizens of the state before the expiration of its tenure next year.
Fielding questions from a panel made up of civil society and labour groups, tagged Ogun Civil Society Conversation with the Executive Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, organised by the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), Ogun State, in Abeokuta yesterday, he said all ongoing projects will be completed.
Amosun, stated that his administration is creating the enabling environment for businesses to thrive, through infrastructural developmental.
He added that just like Abeokuta, the state capital, all other areas will received equal attention.
The governor acknowledged the efforts of civil servants in the state to the success of his administration and promised that all outstanding entitlements will be paid.
On the bad condition of some federal roads across the state, the governor revealed that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has approved the reconstruction of the Lagos/Abeokuta road during the last Federal Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
Earlier, the National Secretary of the CDHR, Comrade Yinka Folarin, commended the state government for its strides, saying the future of the state is secured with all the developmental projects that have dotted all the nooks and crannies of the state.
