A column christened ‘The Platform’ will be making a debut in the widely read and influential News Express online newspaper tomorrow, Friday, April 13, 2018.

‘The Platform’ will regularly serve a detailed, researched and unbiased opinions and analysis on national issues, political developments, government policies and programmes as well as socio-economic engagements of various governments in Nigeria.

This column will be handled by a seasoned journalist, Public Relations consultant, policy analyst and public commentator, Ebere Uzoukwa.

Uzoukwa has journalism and PR experiences that span 16 years. Within this period, he served the present Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okotocha, as Chief Press Secretary (2011-2013). He later served incumbent Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media.

Uzoukwa holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Journalism, Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) on Advertising and Public Relations and Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in Mass Communication. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate Degree on Mass Communication in Imo State University, Owerri.
