The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Thursday 8 October, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over the northern cities throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 36 – 40℃ and 12 – 20℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected to prevail over these areas throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 38 – 40oC and 17 – 25oC respectively, except over Jos where 33℃ /18℃ day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected to prevail over this areas in the morning while localised rain are envisaged over Ibadan, Abakaliki, Ijebu Ode, Akure, Enugu, Owerri, Ado-Ekiti and Lagos during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 36 – 40℃ and 23 – 27℃ respectively.
