The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for, Monday, January 22, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy condition is anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 34℃and 11 – 19℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are probable over parts of the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 - 37℃and 17 – 20℃respectively, except over Jos where 28℃/10℃day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy sky is anticipated over the inland states. The coastal cities are likely to experience early morning Mist/fog conditions with prospect of localised rain showers over Southern Benin, Warri, Yenagoa, Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Eket and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℉and 20 – 25℃respectively.
