Battle-ready police squad
Two expatriates kidnapped in Kaduna, North-West Nigeria, have been rescued, a report reaching News Express said.
The two men were on their way from Kaduna to Abuja, the Nigerian capital, when they were abducted by gunmen along around Kagarko around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Two police escorts attached to the expatriates were killed in a gun battle during their brave attempt to save the men.
“The kidnapped foreigners were rescued at about 7:30 on Saturday morning,” a reliable source close to the police top hierarchy told News Express, without divulging details of the operation.
