Scarcity of the Premium Motor Spirit is growing worse by the day in Lagos, Ogun states and Abuja the Federal Capital Territory.

The petroleum depots in Apapa, Lagos have no enough fuel to distribute to the various filling stations in the states. There are long queues of vehicles in some of the petrol stations that are selling the products.

The situation has thrown Lagos into heavy traffic while the cost of transportation has increased tremendously.

Our correspondent also observed that many commuters are stranded due to a few number of commercial buses on the road.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association lamented last week that its members did not receive enough products from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC. (Silverbird TV)
