The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition forWednesday, November 22, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 39℃and 16 – 24℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are anticipated over most part of the region throughout the forecast period. However, thundery activities are likely over Ilorin and its environs during the morning hours, Mambilla Plateau and its environs are expected to experience isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 36℃and 18 – 23℃respectively, except over Jos where 29℃/14℃day and night temperatures are expected.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over most part of the region, although thundery activities are probable over Osogbo, Akure and its environs during the morning hours. Later in the day there are prospect of localised thunderstorms over places such as Lagos, Ijebu-Ode, Osogbo, Akure, Benin, Warri, Owerri, Enugu, Ikom, Obudu, Eket, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Yenagoa and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 34℃and 20 – 24℃respectively.
