The Interim National Vice Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, has said that there is no cause for alarm over the defection, yesterday, of former Sokoto State Governor Attahiru Bafarawa to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking during an interview with newsmen in Kaduna, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives declared that APC has no leadership problem despite the defection of Bafarawa.
He said that the leadership problem in Kano and Sokoto states is being resolved by the relevant committees.
While responding to the leadership tussle in the Kaduna chapter of the party, Masari said: “There is no interim committee in Kaduna State, hence there is no crisis in Kaduna chapter of the APC.
“Modalities are also being put in place to also ensure victory for the party in 2015. As time goes on the party will unveil some of it strategies.”
He called on APC faithful to continue to support the party in its quest to change the country for the better.
