Thunderstorm
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, July 25, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: In the morning, Maiduguri, Bauchi, Yelwa and Gombe are expected to experience thunderstorm. In the afternoon/evening, localised thunderstorms are anticipated over the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 35℃and 22 – 24℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Yola, Abuja, Bida, Mambilla plateau, Minna, Southern part of Kaduna and South of Jos have prospects of morning thunderstorms. Later in the day, localised thunderstorms are not unlikely. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 27 – 30℃and 18-23℃respectively except Jos at 22 – 15℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Morning thunderstorms are expected over Obudu, Ogoja and Ikom while the inland of the southwest is expected to be cloudy. Over the coastal states, intermittent rains and thunderstorms are anticipated. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 25 – 31℃and 19 – 24℃respectively.
