The Kaduna State Security Council has announced the arrest of gangsters suspected of attacking innocent citizens with dangerous weapons.

A statement on Friday by Samuel Aruwan, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Governor Nasir El-Rufai, stated that the suspects were arrestedby security operativesat different locations in Zaria and Kaduna.

He said the gangsters, popularly known as Yan Sara-Sukaor Yan Sharaare to be prosecuted for causing deaths and injuries.

“The Security Council also directed that the suspects be charged for illegal possession of weapons, disturbance of public peace, homicide and unlawful assembly,” he added.
