Senate warns Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello

Governor Yahaya Bello

The Senate has called on the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, to stop escalating local politics but concentrate more on good governance.

This followed a point of order 43 cited during plenary on Thursday by Senator Bassey Akpan on a publication where the Kogi State Governor questioned the support and interference of the Senate on the recall process of Senator Dino Melaye who represents Kogi West.

Akpan condemned the response State Governor for questioning his support for a friend in the Senate.
