The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, July 12, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Localised thunderstorms are anticipated over Sokoto, Kebbi, Maiduguri and Yola axis in the morning hours. Later in the day, Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over this region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 32oC and 20 – 24℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Localised thunderstorms are anticipated over Ibi, Jalingo and Mambilla plateau axis in the morning hours, Makurdi, Lokoja, Lafia, Kaduna and Jos axis are expected to experience localised thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 25 – 31℃and 16 – 23℃respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition is expected to prevail in the morning hours with prospects of localised rains in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 29 – 32℃and 20 – 24℃respectively.
