The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, July 11 2017:

NORTHERN STATES:Cloudy morning is anticipated over the region with prospects of localised thunderstorms over places like Sokoto, Kebbi and Gombe. In the afternoon/evening hours, localised thunderstorms are expected over Maiduguri, Sokoto, Kano, Katsina and Gusau. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 35℃and 20 – 24℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES:Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over places like Bauchi and Yola in the morning hours. The region is expected to be cloudy with prospects of thunderstorms/rains over Abuja, Lafia, Minna and Mambila in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 32℃and 21 – 23℃respectively except Jos at 26/18℃.

SOUTHERN STATES:Cloudy conditions are expected to prevail over the region in the morning hours. Afternoon rains are anticipated over cities like Umuahia, Owerri, Obudu and across the coastal cities. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 27 – 31℃and 20 – 24℃respectively.
