Cloudy skies
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Monday, July 10, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over the northeast with prospects of localised thunderstorms over places like Sokoto, Kano, Katsina and Yelwa. In the afternoon/evening hours, localised thunderstorms are expected over this region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 36℃ and 21 – 23℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: This region is expected to be cloudy with anticipation of localised thunderstorms over places like Maiduguri, Abuja, Jalingo, Mambilla plateau, Ibi and Yola in the morning hours. Later in the afternoon, localised thunderstorms is expected over this region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 33℃ and 20 – 25℃ respectively except Jos at 26/18℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: There are prospects of cloudiness over the inland state with possibility of rain showers over the coast in the morning hours. In the afternoon/evening, the southeastern cities are expected to be under the influence of localised rains while the southwestern states will be cloudy. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 29 – 31℃ and 21 – 25℃ respectively.
