The Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) on Friday morning kicked off its grassroots referendum sensitisation campaign for the actualisation of Biafra.

The campaign was officially flagged off by the Deputy Leader of the movement, Comrade Ebuta Ogar Takon, in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State. The event witnessed the presence of hundreds of BNYL members from within and outside Rivers State.

BNYL had earlier announced that the sensitisation campaign would kick off from Andoni, also in Rivers State, but switched the venue to the Ikwerre town at the last minute.

BNYL national Leader, Comrade Prince Obuka, told News Express: “We are grateful to God for the successful take-off of the Biafra grassroots referendum sensitisation campaign. The Biafra train has left the station and there is no going back.”
