The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Friday, July 7, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected with prospects of thunderstorms over Gusau, Sokoto and Yelwa. Later in the day, thunderstorms are expected over the region. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 35o℃and 20 – 22℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning hours except places like Gombe, Bauchi, Yola, Mina, Bida and Ilorin where thunderstorms are anticipated in the morning. In the afternoon/evening hours, thunderstorms are expected over the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 26 – 31℃and 18 – 23℃respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: The coastal areas and the inland of the southwestern cities are expected to witness thunderstorms with cloudy conditions over the southeastern cities in the morning period. Later In the afternoon/evening hours, thunderstorms and rains are expected to prevail over the region. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 28 – 32℃and 19 – 23℃respectively.
