Sylvanus Yakubu Giwa, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Taraba State Governor, is dead.

Sylvanus Giwa died at the Federal Medical Center Jalingo after a brief illness

He was 57 years old.

The late SSA Media and Publicity to Governor Darius Ishaku reported to work on Friday morning where he slumped in his office and was immediately rushed to the Federal Medical Center Jalingo.

He died an hour after he was admitted at the intensive care unit of the Hospital.

He was also a former SSA Media and Publicity to Danbaba Danfulani Suntai and former Acting Governor of Taraba State, Sani Abubakar Danladi.

He was also the General Manager of Taraba Television Corporation Jalingo and was a Senior Reporter with Channels Television.

Late Sylvanus Giwa was a graduate of University of Maiduguri

He left behind his wife, three children, his aged mother, two brothers and a sister
