The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Friday, April 7, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: This region is expected to be under sunny and hazy conditions with good visibility in the next 24 hours except for Yelwa, which might experience partly cloudy conditions. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 38 – 44℃and 15 – 26℃respectively except for Yelwa 40/30℃.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over this region with chances of localized thunderstorm over Abuja, Jalingo, Makurdi, Lafia, and Lokoja during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 37 – 43℃and 26 – 29℃respectively except Jos 34/20℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the inland and coastal cities during the morning hours. There are chances of localised thunderstorms over Oshogbo, Ado-Ekiti, Akure, Benin, Awka, Enugu and most part of coastal cities during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 37℃and 22 – 27℃respectively.
