The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Wednesday, April 5, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: This region is expected to be under sunny and hazy conditions in the next 24 hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 41℃and 18 – 26℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over this region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 36 – 40℃and 24 – 30℃respectively except Jos 34/19℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the inland and coastal cities with prospects of thunderstorms over Oshogbo and Ado-Ekiti during the morning hours. There are localised thunderstorms over Ijebu-Ode, Abakaliki, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Lagos, Eket and Yenagoa during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 37℃and 21 – 26℃respectively.
