Claims by the Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, and his aides that the administration has in the past three years received less than what the Peter Obi administration, which it succeeded, received during a similar period have been exposed as lies by figures obtained from the Federal Ministry of Finance.

The figures, which include allocations to Anambra State from the time of Dr. Chris Ngige till date, showed that Governor Obiano has received over N292 billion so far, while Peter Obi received less than 180 billion in his first three years as Governor.

3. So far Obiano has borrowed over 60 billion Naira

4. Obiano has received 23.9 Billion Naira as Paris Club Refund

5. Just this year alone, he received over N300 million as dividend from Anambra State Investment in SABmiller.
