Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Monday, April 3, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES:Dust haze conditions in visibility range of 1000 metres – 3000 metres are expected to prevail over this region. However, few places such as Maiduguri, Gombe, Nguru and Yola may likely experience visibilities of less than 1000m in the next 24 hours. Day and Night temperature value are expected to be in the range of 31 – 41℃and 17 – 29℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES:Moderate dust haze in visibility range of 1-3km is anticipated over the northern half of this region while the southern half is expected to be partly cloudy with chances of localised thundery showers over Lokoja, Makurdi and Lafia during the evening /night hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 40℃and 19 – 30℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES:Cloudiness is expected over the region in the morning hours. Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms are anticipated over the coastal cities such as PortHarcourt, Calabar, Yenagoa, Lagos and warri. Also be affected are the inland area like Akure, Ado Ekiti, Benin, Enugu, Owerri and Obudu this region. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 39℃and 20 – 26℃respectively.
