It was a narrow escape for embattled Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, as gunmen believed to be hired killers fired shots at her car. The minister was, however, not in the car when the attack was launched by yet-to-be-identified persons at the Ministers’ Hill, Maitama in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
Confirming the incident t o newsmen, spokesperson of the Nigerian Police FCT Command, DSP Altine Daniel, said it occurred at about 10 p.m. on Friday but was reported to the police yesterday at about 5:30 p.m.
She disclosed that some metal objects were found in the vehicle which does not look like the conventional bullet.
“The objects will be subjected to ballistic test,” said Daniel, who confirmed that investigation has started into the incident.
