Abia State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mrs. Ngozi Uduma, has charged nursing mothers to breastfeed their infants exclusively for about six months.

Mrs. Uduma who spoke during a one day quiz competition organised by NOA, in collaboration with the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), for pregnant women and mothers of children under six months also urged nursing mothers to start feeding their infants with freshly prepared energy and nutrient-rich complementary foods, in addition to continuously breastfeeding them for up to two years or even longer.
