Hon Ikenga Ugochinyere
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has warned the member representing Ideato North and South Federal Constituency, Imo State, Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, against allegedly taking credit for projects funded and executed by the Commission.
The Commission, In a statement issued last Tuesday, demanded immediate corrections to public communications and project displays that allegedly misrepresent its contributions to development in the constituency.
The statement, signed by Rufus Ibiwari for the NDDC Public Communications Unit, said projects funded and executed by the commission must be properly acknowledged rather than presented as the personal or constituency achievements of public officeholders.
“The Commission will not tolerate the misrepresentation of its development interventions or the erasure of its institutional contributions from public records,” the statement said. (The Nation)
