Governor Oyebanji
By BOLANLE LAWAL
The Governor of Ekiti, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the disengagement of all technical advisers and directors-general of government agencies.
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode, in Ado-Ekiti.
According to him, the affected officials are to submit their handover notes to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
The development comes barely 24 hours after the governor dissolved the State Executive Council.
He said the latest disengagement marked the completion of the process of disengaging political appointees serving in his administration, except for a few whose appointments had been retained.
Oyebanji expressed appreciation to the affected directors-general and technical advisers for their support, commitment and contributions to his administration and the development of Ekiti.
He wished them success in their future endeavours. (NAN)
