Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade and six other players have joined the team’s camp in Ikenne-Remo ahead of Friday’s 2028 Olympic qualifying first leg against Comoros, taking the number of players in camp to 21.
Ajibade was joined by defender Michelle Alozie, midfielders Christy Ucheibe, Toni Payne and Jennifer Echegini, as well as forwards Folashade Ijamilusi and Janet Akekoromowei.
Five more players — goalkeepers Chiamaka Nnadozie and Comfort Erhabor, and forwards Gift Monday, Joy Omewa and Uchenna Kanu — are expected to arrive by Tuesday evening.
The encounter, originally scheduled to be played in Comoros, will now hold at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne-Remo, on Friday, with kick-off fixed for 6pm.
