Controversial Nigerian self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has reportedly lost her second son, Bryan, while she remains in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Facility in Lagos.

The development was disclosed publicly on Friday evening by the Chief Executive Officer of Isaamira Love Foundation, Amira Agiye, who appealed to Nigerians to assist Blessing CEO in meeting her bail conditions and resolving the financial claims connected to her ongoing legal case.

The report of the death had surfaced on social media days earlier but was subsequently addressed by Amira, who said Blessing CEO had authorised her to seek public assistance on her behalf.

Appeal for financial assistance

According to Amira, Blessing CEO is currently dealing with the death of her son while also remaining unable to secure her release from custody because she has not fulfilled the conditions attached to her bail.

She appealed to members of the public to show compassion towards the detained social media personality despite differing opinions about her and the circumstances surrounding her legal case.

Amira said Blessing CEO requires N20 million to meet the bail requirements and an additional N36 million to settle debts owed to individuals who brought the case against her.

She urged Nigerians to assist her so that she could leave custody, attend to her son’s remains and begin dealing with the loss.

Blessing CEO speaks on son’s death

In a voice conversation played by Amira during her appeal, Blessing CEO reportedly confirmed the death of her son and described Bryan as a lively child.

“My second son, Bryan, was full of life. While in custody, I lost Bryan. I pray this turns out positive so I can leave this place, pick up the pieces of my life and pay my respects to him,” she said.

The reported death comes at a difficult period for Blessing CEO, who has remained in custody despite being granted bail in connection with an ongoing property fraud case.

Bail conditions remain unmet

Blessing CEO was reportedly remanded in Kirikiri over an N69.15 million property fraud trial.

She was granted bail in July 2026 in the sum of N20 million, with two sureties required to provide the same amount.

The bail conditions also required each surety to provide three years’ proof of deposits valued at N20 million.

However, she has reportedly been unable to satisfy the conditions required for her release and has consequently remained in the correctional facility.

The reported death of her son has now added a personal tragedy to the legal difficulties she is facing.

Amira’s appeal has also renewed calls for financial assistance to enable Blessing CEO to meet the bail conditions and address the financial obligations connected to the case.
