All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun has unveiled a 156-man campaign council, to ensure the victory of all party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections.

The campaign council has former governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba has the Grand Patron, while former governors, Senators Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun, are Deputy Grand Patrons respectively.

A former member of the National Assembly, Senator Olalekan Mustapha, was named as the Director General of the campaign council.

According to information available at the Nigerian Tribune disposal, two former deputy governors, Senator Gbenga Kaka and Alhaja Salmot Badru were named as patrons.

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun is the Chairman of the campaign, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, as co-chairman, and former envoy of Nigeria to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Tunji Isola, as Assistant Grand Patron.

The state deputy governor, Engr Noimot Salako Oyedele and the deputy governorship candidate of the party, Mrs Kudirat Abiodun Balogun are named Deputy Chairmen respectively.

The state party chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, is the vice chairman of the campaign council.

Veteran journalist, Chief Kayode Odunaro, is the Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee.

Others on the list were former National Assembly members which included, Senators Iyabo Anisulowo; Gbenga Obadara, Akin Odunsi and Dipo Odujinrin as Patrons.

The campaign council members were carefully selected from all the three senatorial districts in the state. (Sunday Tribune)
