Dunukofia LGA Headquarters, which is at Ukpo, Anambra state, has worn a new and beautiful look as its Mayor, Barr. Chijioke C. Ozumba, has carried out maintenance work on the buildings, there.

The buildings, which are at the Dunukofia LGA headquarters, the iron railings of the buildings, and the gates of the LGA headquarters’ buildings were generously dabbed different colours of paint.

As a result, they are beautiful sights to behold for they glitter, beautifully, in the morning sun.

More so, now, all the offices in the buildings, which are at the Dunukofia LGA headquarters, Ukpo, look spick and span, as they had been cleaned.

And since the offices are salubrious for use by the Dunukofia LGA workers, they can work at their optimal level.

Again, the grasses on the premises of that LGA, which have grown to considerable great height, making the environment have unsightly appearance, are being mowed. The area is being fumigated to scare away venomous reptilian creatures, too.

It Is said that the mayor of Dunukofia LGA, Barr. Ozumba, who is enamoured with clean and beautiful environment, is christened “Oluatuegwu 2” for his lofty achievements in diverse areas of leadership and for his sedulous disposition.

Speaking to this information officer, Chinasa Sandra, who works at the LGA as a civil servant, said this about Mayor Ozumba: “Our secretariat has taken a new and beautiful look because our Mayor dislikes dirty environment.

“Again, he is hardworking; and we nicknamed him “Oluatuegwu 2” because he executed many projects, which have positive impact on the people.

“Now, we enjoy steady supply of electricity at the secretariat because he bought solar panels, which are added to others.

“More so, I am thanking him for repairing all the toilet facilities at the LGA, which has made them become functional, again,” Chinasa said.

Another civil servant, Obinna Okoye, who works in an office at the local government area, praised the Mayor for his love of cleanliness and execution of great projects.

“The maintenance work that is ongoing on the buildings at this LGA is good and commendable.

“The fact is that our mayor, Barr. C. C Ozumba, loves clean environment. And beautiful things are pleasant to the eyes.

“But more importantly, our mayor is hardworking and very focused,” Okoye said.
