The Acting Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Osun State, Chief Kazeem Oyewale, has said he has concluded plans to sue Governor Ademola Adeleke and Commissioner for Information, Kolapo Alimi, over alleged murder of his younger brother.

He said he is also suing the state government because he was accused of masterminding the destruction of Accord Party’s billboards across the state.

Oyewale, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), claimed the actions of the governor were escalating political tension ahead of the 2026 governorship election.

The Nation recalls that Governor Adeleke called for the arrest of Oyewale, alleging that he was responsible for the destruction of billboards and harassment of Accord members.

The NURTW boss denied the allegations levelled against him by the governor and the commissioner, claiming his younger brother was killed by suspected political thugs in 2022 and Adeleke prevented justice to be served on them. (The Nation)
