President Bola Tinubu has approved the deployment of four Federal Permanent Secretaries recently appointed and sworn into office, in a move aimed at strengthening governance and public sector efficiency.
The development was disclosed in a statement signed by Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
According to the statement, the deployment forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery, improve policy execution, and align administrative operations with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
It noted that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, who emerged through a competitive selection process, bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and innovation to their respective roles.
The statement added that the postings were strategically designed to optimise institutional performance, encourage inter-ministerial collaboration, and drive sustainable development across critical sectors of the economy.
“The newly deployed officials include Mrs Bekearedebo Augusta Warrens (Bayelsa State), Political and Economic Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Dr Kamil Ayinde Shoretire (Ogun State), Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.
“Mrs Nkiruka Bella Jones-Nebo (Enugu State), Career Management Office, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation; and Mr Sani Yargaya Aminu (Kano State), Special Services Office, Cabinet Affairs Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,” the statement read.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees and urged them to deploy their expertise effectively in their new assignments.
She also emphasised the need for professionalism, accountability, and results-driven leadership in advancing the Federal Government’s development objectives. (Guardian)
