A displaced couple, Mr. Solomon Orakaa and his wife, Doris, have appealed for assisttvance after welcoming a set of triplets in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba.

The family, who were forced to flee their home due to militia attacks, is currently taking refuge with a relative in Dan-Anacha town.

According to a report by the Nigerian Tribune, the couple welcomed the newborns on Tuesday amid challenging living conditions, prompting an urgent call for support.

Mr. Orakaa appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to come to their aid with financial and material assistance to help care for the babies.

“Having triplets is a blessing, but raising them is a huge challenge,” he said.

His wife, Doris, also called on the Taraba State Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development to intervene and support the family during this difficult period.

“We are displaced persons, currently staying with a relative here in Dan-Anacha. We appeal to Nigerians to assist us in easing the burden of caring for the children,” she added.

The couple’s situation highlights the growing humanitarian concerns faced by internally displaced families, particularly those with newborns, in parts of the country affected by insecurity.
