BREAKING: Buhari moves to replace 2 Supreme Court Justices accused of corruption

President Muhammed Buhari has requested that the Senate should confirm the nomination of two new Justices of the Supreme Court.

Bukola Saraki, the Senate President read this letter after the Senate returned from an executive session on Tuesday, to resume plenary for the week.

Saraki read that the nominated judges are Sidi Bage from Nasarawa State, North Central; and Paul Jauro, from Taraba State, North East.

This indicates the end of the career of Supreme Court Justices John Okoro and Sylvester Ngwuta, who were arrested and detained over the weekend by the Department of State Services (DSS), which invaded their residences, along with those of some other top judges, in what the Service described as a sting operation.
