Supporters storm Kwankwaso Kano residence
A massive crowd of supporters from Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State, on Thursday, paid a solidarity visit to former Kano State governor and leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, at his residence in Kano.
Kwankwaso disclosed the visit in a Facebook post on Sunday, describing the supporters as resilient and courageous, especially in the face of recent political developments that have tested the loyalty of party faithful.
According to him, the delegation reaffirmed its commitment to the ideals of Kwankwasiyya, stressing that their support was driven not by personal interests but by the desire for collective progress and the wellbeing of the people.
“I was honoured to receive a solidarity visit at my residence in Kano from the resilient people of Nasarawa Local Government,” Kwankwaso said.
He commended the supporters for remaining steadfast despite recent challenges, noting that their determination underscored the enduring strength of the movement.
Kwankwaso assured them that the vision and principles of Kwankwasiyya would continue to be upheld and advanced, adding that the movement remains focused on serving the people.
“Together, we remain resolute in upholding and advancing the timeless ideals of Kwankwasiyya. The journey continues, and victory is assured by the grace of God and the will of the people,” he stated.
The visit comes amid heightened political activities in Kano State following the resignation of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). (Sunday Tribune)
